2.92mm Male to 2.4mm Male Straight Adapter
The 2.92mm connectors are mechanically compatible with SMA and 3.5 mm
The 2.4mm connector is mechanically compatible and intermateable with the 1.85mm connector family.
RF Adapters are often used to enable connections between two connector types that would otherwise not mate. Of course adapter configurations can also be used to protect connectors on expensive equipment where the number of connect/disconnect cycles is high. An RF Microwave or millimeter wave Adapter is connected to the equipment, and commonly changed connection is made with the adapter which can be easily replaced when it wears out after high usage.
